Dual Processor Upgrade

Is there a way to have Windows 2000 recognize a second processor using the Compaq Support Paq?

No. There is no HP/Compaq utility for Windows 2000 to install the MPS hal. This typically just involves going into device manager and changing the driver to the MPS driver.
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..
