Dual Processor mixing
Hi all,
My system already has a pentium pro 200 and a power module, I want to upgrade to dual processor. I already found a used pentium pro 200, didn't buy it yet.
What should I look for, and do I need another power module, or other stuff to make it work
Thank you in advace

Re: Dual Processor mixing
you will need the power module...
you can mix processor speeds but not cache so make sure they are the same cache size..
the proc with the higher stepping should be in slot 1

Re: Dual Processor mixing
I also am doing same. I have the PPRO 200 processor and power module. Installed and rebooted but getting 178-Processor configuration invalid message. I don't have utilities installed on this server. What should I do to configure the second processor manually? This is an NT Terminal Server and the utilities do not work.
