E200/i f/w 1.72 who tryes ? How about ?

Today I see, the new firmware for E200/i v.1.72 available on hp site. Who tryes this ? How about ? Based on description it have to solve some serios performance problems with SATA drives. But because of all that written about this controller, I'm not shure - install or not. Please try someone on test, not production server. No new driver or ACU presented on site, firmware only. I'm very interested to solve performance problems with SATA drives - is this realy works ?

It seems to solve serious write problems (not all data got written to disks when server is rebooted), in this case:

If they don't hide the download in the next 3 days, it has to work :)

I will try it tomorrow with SAS drives and will give feedback.

The "fixes" only note the following, which don't appear related to the issues people are asking about.

I'm still reeling from v2.8 for Smartarray 6i rendering my server inoperable, so I'll hold off on this one personally.

Fixed an abnormal volume state issue where under certain rare conditions, a replacement drive that is in a rebuilding state in a RAID 1 or RAID 1+0 configuration may be marked "OK", prior to completing the rebuilding process.
Fixed an issue where the controller may not automatically write the monitoring & performance (M&P) data to a new hard drive installed on a system that already has a configured logical volume.
Fixed an issue where an Accidental Power loss causes expansion data loss on SATA drives when running FW version 1.64.
Fixed a FW Performance issue where Read/Write Hits above 2TB are not getting cached into the controller's cache.

Hello
I have upgraded e200i to the latest firmware 1.72, latest e200i driver (6.12.0.32), latest SATA disks firmware, but nothing seems to changed - write performance on RAID 5, 4x500GB 7200 RPM lasts maximum 20-23 MB/s.
Must i enable write cache manual? How can i do that on Windows 2003 server?
Launching Device manager - Disk drives - HP LOGICAL VOLUME SCSI Disk Device - Properties - Policies, i set Enable write caching on the disk on, but, as in W2K3S Event Log written, driver disables write cache on device \Device\Harddisk0\DR0
(sorry for my english :)
