ERROR: Running 2 add-in display adapters in a DL370 G6
I am trying to run 2 add-in display adapters. Both my NVIDIA adapters and ATI adapters are experiencing the same issue. When the 2nd identical adapter is added, the driver is loaded and it prompts for a reboot. Following the reboot, the 2nd adapter will not start with error 12 (this device cannot find enough free resources that it can use.). We do have one DL370 G6 server that is running 2 adpaters successfully so I know it can be done. I believe HP assisted on getting the one server to work, but that was before I was got here. Does anyone know how to get this configuration to work?

Start by comparing this server with the "not working" server. Specifically check the firmware versions at all components and OS versions and patch levels. Also are the cards in one server the same with the cards in the other server?

Re: ERROR: Running 2 add-in display adapters in a DL370 G6
Turns out the installed BIOS version was the issue (2009.10.01). The previous version worked as does the most recent version.
