hi

i removed 1 pair from memory after that the firmware update completed successfully-

after that i re-installed the mem and the server work fine for 2 hours - then back to same error

Re: ESX 4.1 - DL380 G7

thank you
the memory is configured correct
have 1 cpu - with 8 GB placed on A B C D solts

but the error says:LINT0 motherboard interrupt
and the server then hangs

i wonder that firmware did not complete, only after i remove the memory from slots C D then it works

now should i replace the memory ??)

Yes, this could be the symptom of a faulty motherboard, the best way to diagnose it is to narrow down the issue like you did with the DIMMs, if you have any PCI cards please remove them, if you have a spare cpu try swapping the current cpu, finally run HP Insight diagnostics from smart start, 3 loops - all devices, if nothing else comes up as the culprit, the motherboard could be affected. LINT0 is usually an NMI.
