ESXi on DL380 G6 WBEM Temperature Alerts
We are using HPSIM to catch WBEM alerts from an ESXi Host, a DL380 G6. We are running HP's ESXi that has been updated over time using vSphere Host Update Utility.
Since Day one with this box, we have received intermittent temperature threshold alerts through HPSIM. It is with various sensors in the server and does not seem to follow a pattern. I have checked the temp readings and have found that temperatures are in range during these events. The server is in a datacenter with more than adequate cooling capacity.
We have a DL380G5 in a similar configuration that does not have the issue. I have found nothing on this out on the internet. If anyone has any ideas, I would be grateful.

Re: ESXi on DL380 G6 WBEM Temperature Alerts
My first thought would be; what Firmware is on the unit.

Same problem her, after we opgrade the BIOS to 2010-03-30, we see error from HPSIM, but not on the WBEM site.
