Embeded SATA does not work

Hi all,
I have a HP ML110 server that has two PATA and two SATA embeded controllers. The BIOS option that configures these controllers is:

Embeded Paralel ATA: BOTH
Embeded Serial ATA: DISABLED

And the field "Embeded Serial ATA: " itself, is disabled, so that I cannot change to Enabled. So I cannot add any SATA disk drive.
In the board there is not any switch that can enable/disable this feature.

Can anyone help me to solve this problem?
Thank you in Advance
Mikel.

Re: Embeded SATA does not work

As a standard models being sold you should be able see if it ATA or SATA
In ATA models, SATA on board is not supported, unless SATA 4 PORT Controlled repurchased, Cage (if need in hot Plug) and few other accessories
