Enabeling LO100i on DL145 G2

hi, i have been googling and googling for ages and havent come up with anything, but how do i enable LO100i interface on a proliant DL145 G2?

We have the IPMI menu in the bios where we can set LO100i ip-address but we cant still access the LO100i web.

Can you connect to the lo100 with telnet?

also check that you have the following option enabled Advanced/IPMI/LAN Settings

BMC Ping Response: [Enabled]
BMC HTTP Service: [Enabled]

after installed and the IP has been set on the IPMI the lo100i should respond to ping, to you get an echo back?

we have set the ip and tried ping it, tried browse to it but with no sucess at all, we are going to upgrade the firmware hopefully tomorrow (the servers are aprox 52 miles away from me so i have no real access to them and they are not located in a datacenter :) )

either way, i will try it again and reply back here!

btw, to use the lo100i functions like monitor and remote setup does it require some special license for it to work?

if integrated in the system you need license for advance features, if you bought the card you do not need license.
