Error 1285
I'm using HP Proliant DL380 server with MS windows SP4. I'm facing this error
Source: NIC Agents
Category: Service
Type: Error
EventID: 1285
NIC Agent: Connectivity has been lost for the NIC in slot 0, port 2. [SNMP TRAP: 18006 in CPQNIC.MIB]
followed by the below error:
Source: EventLog
Category: None
Type: Error
EventID: 6008
The previous system shutdown at TIME on DATE was unexpected.
Can someone tell me the reason and resolution for the same?

Re: Error 1285
This may happen if the NIC driver registry is corrupt.
Check by re-installing the NIC driver.
If the NIC team is used, check removing the NIC Team, re-install the driver and re-establish the NIC Team.
Also ensure that the latest NIC firmware is installed.
Mostly the NIC driver reload would resolve the issue.
