Error 207 on PL DL580 G1
207-Invalid Memory Confguration-Mismatched DIMMs within DIMM group
Memory within 4-DIMM Group(s)not utilized
-DIMMS 1 2 3 4
and can't find any documentation around to help me understand what's going on.
I resetted the memory board and DIMMs thinking that one might be loose but that's not the case.
Any pointers?

Re: Error 207 on PL DL580 G1
According to the Support Docs the 207 code means you have a DIMM installed of an supported size.
http://h200005.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00300504/c00300504.pdf
What size modules or part#'s are in each slot?

Re: Error 207 on PL DL580 G1
Configuration Rules
100MHz ECC SDRAM DIMMs should be from Compaq.
Four DIMMs must be installed in every bank.
All DIMMs must be the same speed, size, and type, MB and Mb.
Individual banks can be different sizes.
The server ships with at least four DIMMs in Bank #1.
Install DIMMs in consecutive socket order.
------------Part Info ------------------

Re: Error 207 on PL DL580 G1
If I'm not mistaken the memory has not been changed since the server was built. The only change was the removal of 1 processor.

Try one set of 4 after second
Verify System ROM

Reset memory board, Clear NVRAM (need CSU to restore access to F10)
