Error 59
When running smartstart I got 'Smartstart cannot continue because there are no pysical or logical disks on primary controller' I made the Raid card the primary boot controller and carried on with the install of the OS. I installed updates, service packs etc then it got left for a week.
I updated it last week and it would not start saying no operating system found, when I tried to install OS again it said no hard drive could be found. I can't see why it suddenly started this when I did what it said and set the primary boot controller but it all of a sudden it decided it did not have an OS any ideas??

Re: Error 59
Hi,
First of all you didn't say what type of server it is. It look to be a defect, but at least check if your OS type and boot controller are set right in the F9/F10 bios setting. Also check if the raid controller power on selftest finds any logical disks.
Good luck
Leon
