Error while trying to extend MIRRORed volume?

Hi All:

I just upgraded the disks in one of our Compaq Proliant DL360 G3 servers. It had a pair of 18GB SCSI disks setup as a mirror. I replaced them with 72GB disks.

The mirror is partitioned into 3 volumes:
C: (system)
D: (oracle)
E: (apps)

I need to resize D: and E:, but the utility is giving me an error that I don't think I should ignore. Please see the attached file for a screen capture.

The server is running Windows 2000 Server with Service Pack 4.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Sonny

Hi Sonny,

It means exactly what it says - so do not try to ignore it! ;-)

See this thread regarding similar situation with some hints:

Re: Error while trying to extend MIRRORed volume?

Sonny,
You can extend E:\ partition with diskpart
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/325590/en-us
Only E:\ partition because you have unallocated space next to E:\ partition.
