Error whilst loading smartstart

When using Smartstart v4.80 whilst loading I get the following error message: while intialising device v86mngr:Error: cannot install the 386 enhanced mode xms driver. Has anyone come accross this before or can help in any way?

What do you have installed in this system (hardware - as in memory, cards...)?

Thanks for your response Ron, I have since rolled back the new hardware installed which included a redware memory module supplied incorrectly by the supplier and replaced with Compaq and Smartstart has run well. The server is now functional.
