Errore 776 Smart Array E200i - Pronta per il ripristino

Buongiorno a tutti,

i LED di tutti i dischi risultano verdi ma da ACU riscontro l'avviso 776 (pronto per ripristino) unità logica 1 è in attesa della ricostruzione. Solitamente la ricostruzione è automatica, ma in questa situazione non sembra andare a termine.

Ho provato a generare anche il report (in allegato) e sembrerebbe che siano addirittura 2 i dischi con problemi.
La macchina monta W2003 R2 e attualmente il backup fallisce (si chiude forzatamente a 28MB) e nell'eventvwr compare un errore su disco. Adesso proverò ad installare un altro tool per effettuare il backup della macchina.

Vorrei avere un Vs. consiglio su come agire. Ho paura che sostituire anche uno dei due dischi (vi chiedo conferma che siano su 2 i problemi) mi porti ad un fermo macchina. Questo perchè la ricostruzione potrebbe fallire in quanto anche l'altro disco necessario contiene errori.

Hi thanks for ADU report.

 

The latest firmware solve your problem

Firmware has been upgraded to support capacity expansion operations that require more than 65535 sectors (32MB) to be relocated per expand iteration.

Firmware supports 15 drives per SCSI bus.

Firmware supports the new big drive assignment maps (128 bits) as well as the big physical drive numbering (0x80+)

Firmware supports deferred code load drive firmware updates

Firmware supports basic splitting and resyncing of mirrored volumes

Controller implements SAS changes documented in the firmware spec

Firmware supports greater than 2TB logical volumes

 

 

 

 

But the firmware update in this case not help for your array recovery.
You lose the data from this array in this case.
Try to update the firmware but do not give lot of chance to resolve the problem now. In future yes

Latest firmware is: 1.86

Thanks for the reply.

I prefer not update the firmware without a valid backup of the server. Tomorrow i'll install Veeam Endpoint Backup and  i try to do a backup of the entire server (it's the only one DC). If the backup it's ok i'lll try to update the firmware a rerun ACU searching new information about my errors.

I'll post new information.
