Errors after installing SMP

I install and license SCO SMP and allow it to relink the kernel. When I reboot, the console displays the error "WARNING: apic - no BIOS information found for irq 1" (the same entry is put in the messages file immediately before the first "%disk" entry). The system then finishes booting, but the keyboard is inop.

This is not good. Any help?

Turns out upgrading the system's BIOS (P09) to the latest version did the trick.

For the SCO SMP kernel to work correctly with the system, you must set the processor APIC mode to "Full Table" in the system BIOS.
