Ethernet KVM on DL385 G5p causing extremely laggy input

Hi everyone,

So my company just switched from using a PS/2 KVM to a more modern Ethernet/USB based one.  It has worked perfectly for every system in our shelf, apart from a DL385G5p.  The cursor only moves about a quarter of the time you move the mouse, and the keyboard will either not see input, or repeats it to infinity. (in the linux terminal, it will sometimes fill the window with repeating text.)  Its very sporadic, and there seems to be about a 2 second window every 10 seconds or so

Anyone have any insights?

Thanks a lot!

Hi,

Need more inputs like:

What is the BIOS version on the server.

What is the operating system on the server.

What is the Ethernet/USB KVM model/company and whats the firmware on that device.

Apologies for abandoning this post for so long,
I reloaded the OS, which was centOS 5.5, and that seemed to fix the issue.
Thanks anyway!
