Event ID 1206

The event viewer has been logging the following error: "Event ID: 1206 The description for Event ID ( 1206 ) in Source ( Storage Agents ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: 4, 4, = , Slot 1, 0, 0, 0. it's" warning allwas occur every minute.
How can I verify whether or not I have a controller problem? If it is not a controller problem, what else could it be? Thanks! fad

Re: Event ID 1206

Fadillah:

Are you running the latest ProLiant Support Pack (PSP)?
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/19614.html
This package will install all the drivers and software you need.

If this problem persist, you very well may have a drive going bad.
Enjoy!
