Re: Event ID 57 HPqilo2 DL380 G6

Yesterday I applied steps that Jan provided and it seems that our DL380 g6 is running ok. I have not applied the "Online Flash Component for Windows - System Programmable Logic Device (HP ProLiant DL380 G6)" from advisory yet. Despite this, I cannot completely confirm this solution since, in our case, the server was restarting randomly with intervals from 12 hours to week and a half.

Re: Event ID 57 HPqilo2 DL380 G6

I just realized that I was reffering to different advisory - http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c01955503

Someone might find that fact useful :)

Re: Event ID 57 HPqilo2 DL380 G6

right now our server stopped responding, console was deaf so we had to manually restart the server. I have installed the programmable logic patch right now and I hope it will help.

Server is still rebooting so we are going to have the systemboard replaced. Hope this will solve it.

Martin, I was refering to this advisory
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&objectID=c01802766&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=3239482

Re: Event ID 57 HPqilo2 DL380 G6

We installed the ILO management driver and the firmware update on the 64 bit G6 server and the problem was resolved.

We installed the 32 bit version on a win 3k 32 bit server. The messages did not completely go away but reduced to occurring every few days.
