Event error is happenining on multiple systems

We are getting the following message in the Event Viewer. We are getting it constantly and on multiple servers.

Component: Compaq NC Agent Error: Unable to open the registry sub key "CPQNIC\Ether net\Statistics". Cause: This error can be caused by a corrupt registry or a low memory condition. Re booting the server may correct this error.

I have uninstalled both Nicks. Re installed them 1 by 1 and teamed them. I continue to get this message. Any ideas?

Go into Control Panel, Compaq Management Agents (or Compaq Insight Agents) and remove the NIC Information Agent from the installed column. Close that applet and reopen it. Add the agent back and then close both the applet and Control Panel. This should refresh the registry (if that is the cause).
