Event id 4146 cpqasm2 monitoring of power supply disabled

I'm getting reports from Insight Manager, system homepage, and the event viewer that my PROLIANT ML370 G3 server's power supplies are not redundant. The event log shows an error ID 4146 being reported from CPQASM2, monitoring of power supply #1 has been disabled. The next message is the same except that it's power supply #2.

Both power supplies appear to be working normal, green lights on both, fans running normally.

Does anyone know if this is a driver glitch with CPQASM2? Or any other thoughts on this issue?

Thanks.

Scott,

i saw a similar issue and think its only a reporting issue which doesn't cause any hardware issue

please be sure you've the latest RomPaq and the latest PSP ( this is an example for Win2k3 // Firmware is similar doens't matter which OS is in use )

Furthermore be sure that you've installed the latest SP for HP SIM
