Exchanging disks with Smart Array 3200 & 5300
Hello,
We are currently operating two Proliant servers. The first one is equipped with a SA5300-controller and holds 36GB disks. The second one uses 20GB disks on a SA3200-controller.
Is it possible to replace the 36GB-disks with 72GB-disks in an easy way? Perhaps even without shutting down the system?
And is there a way to integrate those 36GB disks into the SA3200-system without reinitializing the array?
Thanks for your answers,
Mario Witte
