Expanding Raid5 on DL380 G6

I have a Raid5 already in place across 4 136.76GB Drives, and i want to add 4 identical drives to the existing raid and expand the partition.

Running Windows Server 2008,

Smart Array P410i controller, accelerator enabled.

i attached screenshots from the system management.

Questions are,

Can i do it (add 4 drives) without rebuilding the array and subsequently destroying the data (i want to SAVE the data)

How do i do it? (via startup RAID configuration (if there is something), or will it appear as an option on the system management homepage)

Re: Expanding Raid5 on DL380 G6

To be able to expand the arrays you have't got the right bits on your P400 ( I had a similar problem). I added a 512MB BBWC module to the controller and then the expansion option became available.

If you go to this link

and see the section

Does the Smart Array P410 have battery-backed cache and what features require BBWC?
