External SCSI HDD is invisible for system

I connect hdd Seagate ST318437LV through external embeded SCSI connector. During POST disk is correctly detected, but is invisible in system (device manager, disk manager) and in the event log is error from source cpq32fs2 that device didnot respond. I have latest version ROMPaq and support paq installed. Petr

Re: External SCSI HDD is invisible for system

One thing you can try is to go into the F10 partition so it sees it and then save and exit. For the error that is the driver for the On-board scsi port.
Are you using a smart array controller?
