External Storage System (MSA1500) fan status failed
We have an MSA1500 SAN storage array attached to a Proliant DL380 G4 Server. One of the blowers on the power supplies in an MSA30 enclosure failed. System Management Homepage (SMH) showed the fan as failed, as did the Integrated Management Log(IML)viewer. The failed blower was replaced, the IML was cleared, but the (SMH) still shows the blower as failed. Using SNMP as the data source in SMH. Server is running W2K3 SP2. IMA version is 8.26.0.0, SMH version is 3.0.1, and Version Control is not installed. Everything elese in SMH works fine. Also un-installed SMH & IMA and re-installed SMH & IMA, and problem still persists. Software is from PSP v8.25 release.
Any ideas on how to rectify?
