External scsi connector.

I have connected HP A3311A harddrive tower to external SCSI connector but Compaq won't see it. I only have one harddrive in front Cheetah 9.1 and A3311A is full of 4.3 UW. Please Advise.

if you have ANYTHING on the internal scsi port 1 then the external will not work..its one or the other..that includes a loose cable..disconnect internal port one and external should work
