Extra Hardrive for ML330

I have a Proliant ML330 Server. I would like to add a IDE HDD (mainly due to cost). Is this possible? If not/is too much trouble, can you suggest an appropriate SCSI one?
I think it should work now...

Yes, It is.

If you use Compaq IDE server drives and SmartStart, you will have the advantage of the Compaq enhancements.

Re: Extra Hardrive for ML330

Sorry, but I should have mentioned my ML330 is over 3 years old - PIII 667Mhz model and I can't see an IDE connector in the spec sheets. Would I have to connect the HDD to the CD-ROM IDE connector?

Re: Extra Hardrive for ML330

IDE is IDE. Connect both the hard drive and the CD ROM to the same system board jack with a standard IDE cable that has 3 connectors crimped on it. Depending on your cable, you have to set the hard drive and CD either as master and slave or as cable select.
