Re: F10 at startup

Hi Rick

You don???t mention your Compaq server model. Some Compaq server models have the RBSU (rom base setup utility) which is a non ??????F10?????? (system partition utility,SCU). If you have one of those previous models that take the f10, it might just not be install. In which case it will tell you that the system partition is not install when pressing F10 at the double beeps when it shows a blinking cursor after memory count and array initialization.

It is possible to download the F10 (SCU) system configuration utility from Compaq site if it is for one of those earlier Compaq model. If the OS is already installed you can only RUN it. You don???t want to overwrite you Os partition.
Check out: http://www.compaq.com/support/files/server/us/index.html for sp 19619.

And for more help you can call tech support: 1800.652.6672

Hope this will help.
