F8 ROM POST 6i Controller Array Setup limitations?

The six 300 GB drives in our DL 380 G4 were setup through Smart Start as two logical arrays - 70 GB and 1 GB and all is happy.

In thinking about Disaster Recovery, I noticed the 6i's F8 ROM array utility doesn't seem to allow two logical drives spread across drives (splitting one 300 GB drive). Does anyone else concur that it's not possible to setup the 70 GB and 1 GB arrays as you can in the SS GUI?

Thanks!

Re: F8 ROM POST 6i Controller Array Setup limitations?

On-board ROM Configuration for Arrays was added as a quick way for users to set up an initial array configuration that wasn't complex, like RAID 0, 0+1 or 5 across a set of disks. Anything more complex requires the Array Configuration Utility software available by booting SmartStart or with the ACU loaded as a utility on the host OS.
