FIrmware Upgrade HP Proliant DL380 G5 from 4.12 to 7.24

I have a Proliant DL 380 G5, that I have had for years in my home/office.  I have neglected upgrading the firmware and wanted to do that.  

My question is can I upgrade from version 4.12 to 7.24  or do I need to upgrade each incremental version between these two?  I appreciate your responses and assistance.

If its about smart array controller firmware then its recommended to update the firmware in 3 steps as current firmware level is very low.

Update the firmware in below sequence:
