4 modules x 4 GB
and for how long the server has been working fine with that configuration?

BTW: these are 34 servers running continuously for several months now at a customers site.

Re: FYI: ProLiant ML150 G2 supports up to 16GB memory
Just in addition to RaMpaNTe:
If a Hardware problem occurs on your system and you call HP for support and you say "they functioned fine several months..." doesn't mean thye can't make you trouble later. Since they are not listed in Quickspecs this means they are not tested with the 150 G2 SystemROM under different
circumstances - heavy load/option part installation/CPU compatibility/DMA...
So if you install something that is not listed there, means you take the responsibility...
>> At the time HP defined the specifications of the ML150 G2 there simply were no 4GB DDR modules....
The Quickspecs specification is updated regulary, HP 500GB 1.5G SATA 7.2K 3.5" HDD
395473-B21 was not available 2004 too...
As for ML150 G2 it is retired 28.02.2007...
That is in general for servers...
