Fail to boot from HD, but always display Compaq System Configuration

Hai, my Compaq ML370 fails to boot from harddrive, but it always display Compaq System Configuration (there is no bootable diskette on disk drive or CD on CD-Rom), is anyone know this problem ?
How to remove that so i can boot normally from harddrive? thank's

I don't understand. Why do you want to remove it? Removing it won't necessarily allow your machine to boot up.

What kind of error are you getting if you don't press F10? Or does it boot directly into the system configuration utility?

Yes,it boots directly into the system configuration utility.
So What do i do if i want to boot from hard drive ?

Normally this will happen if somebody goes in and makes the system partition active.

I would recommend booting off a DOS floppy, run Fdisk, select the option to mark partition active and select to do this to the OS partition (most likely the one immediately following the 36 or 39 MB Compaq System Partition).
