Failed hdd in RAID 1 problem (my scenario)
Hello Dears. I write to you from Azerbaijan. I have 2 x HP proliant DL380 G7 server. One of servers have failed hdd into RAID 1 group. You know yellow amber blinking. I have bought new SAS drive. I changed failed with new one after shutdown server. But nothing is going on. System is not boot ESXI. And rebuilding process is not going. Please help me. How can I replace disk and start rebuild process normally with new disk.??? I searched on Internet but can not find normal answer for RAID 1.

Re: Failed hdd in RAID 1 problem (my scenario)
If you have a Disk Drive failure:
Keep the Server running, pull the failed Drive, insert the new one.
Then the rebuild start automatic (The Geeen LED is blinkting static).
In your Case you can try this:
Remove the new Drive and boot the Server with only the good one.
If the Server ist online, put the new Drive in.
