Failed to install FC2242-SR DC driver

My config:

1. Prolint DL580 G4
2. FC2242 SR DC (Dual ports 4Gb Emulex HBA)
3. Windows 2003 Server R2 x64 Enterprise

Scenario:

1. Downloaded the driver for Win2K3 Server 64bit from HP Support.

2. Failed to install the driver. Error returned - "cpqsetup.exe is a valid program but is not meant for this type of machine."

Could anyone help me to find the correct driver?

Hello,

maybe the link to the download is incorrect, and it's a 32 bit version. The error message is is suitable. Try the driver from Emulex, try to install the latest ProLiant Support Pack or try a Google Search for the correct archive.

I'm kinda agree with Patrick because I noticed that the released notes said it's for "itanium based server". Is DL580-G4 an itanium based? I'm sure that I had clicked on "windows server 2003 64 bit" link and got the cp008508.exe as mentioned by Sammy. It is what I had downloaded earlier. Could it be that the link was (is) mixed up?

One thing I noticed about my FC HBA is that its bios version is 1.7 dated way back in 2006. Is it current?
