Fan at full blast.

ML115 G5, updated bios to most current version, the cooling fan now runs at full blast.

Tried reverting bios to an older version, makes no difference, still no respite.

Need a way out, this server will run in  a small office!

Re: Fan at full blast.

hello Peter,

Is the latest PSP or Software management installed?

If it's installed: what is in the IML (management log)?

Try the latest bios, and the latest firmwares!

regards

Re: Fan at full blast.

PSP means "ProLiant Support Pack" which is available for 300 series and above servers.

This pack contains latest drivers/software for ProLiant Servers.
