Fan problem on my Proliant ML110 G5

Hi all,

Have upgrade BIOS to 2009.10.09 (A) (26 Oct 2009)
But after that, the rear fan is on 100% all the time...

I downgraded BIOS to
Version: 2009.03.12 (A) (30 Mar 2009)
Version: 2009.02.24 (A) (13 Mar 2009)

But nothing helps... why?

No idea, but this seeems to be caused by a conflict with some other firmware. As the installation instructions of this BIOS version specifies, you need to have the BMC Firmware version 3.11 BEFORE upgrading to that BIOS version... Did you install that before?

BMC firmware is found looking for "LO100" (HP Lights-Out 100 (LO100) Remote Management) product at HP Support & Drivers page.
There you can download BMC firmware you need, select the correct ProLiant server model.
Download the utility for your operating systen family, create the USB key and use it to upgrade BMC firmware, similar to upgrading BIOS.

I had same issue with DL180 G5, and solved it with this link:

I don't know why this download is not available from the Proliant server page model that has the issue.
