Find out P/N of ProLiant Server?
Greetings.
A year ago, I took over IT-Support for a small company. Now I need to find out the product number of their ProLiant-Server to find suitable replacemant RAM. Any idea where to find the exact product ID?
Regards
S.G.

Re: Find out P/N of ProLiant Server?
There should be a tag or sticker on the system that lists the S/N and P/N
Boot the system into RBSU
If the host OS is Linux you can run "dmidecode" to get the P/N

Re: Find out P/N of ProLiant Server?
If the server has a ILO2 or ILO3 it displays the productnumber on the status summary page
