Firewire Card for DL320 G5

Hello-

I'm trying to figure out if there is a firewire card that will configure with my DL320 G5 server. I do have a free slot available but an unsure what to look for exactly. Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thanks

No. in the compatability matrix it doesn't list DL320.

Hello, the server comes standard with PCI-E Slots, there is and optional part that will let you use PCI-X cards. Now there is no tested supported Firewire PCI card for the server sold by HP. Now what I would do in your case in get a PCI-E firewire card but with the condition that if it does not work in the server then the card can be returned and exchanged for another model/brand that way you won't be loosing money.

Even i would go for the Above Option, Try different Brands starting with HP one...

As he mentioned If its not in the Supported List means it is not Tested, It may work. Most of the times it does.
