Firmware CD for DL380 G2

Wondering if using FW CD 7.5 would be ok to update the server which is running Win2000 SP4.

Hi there,

Operating system really does matter if you are using firmware maitainence CD offline.

what matters is the support for DL380 g2 whether still available in firmware CD 7.5.

I remember there is a support matrix for all the smartstart CD but I am not able to find it on web as it's quite old.

however, I see from the release notes... it is very much supported and you can use it to udpate firmware on dl380 g2 server

Right on the OS, do realize that, typically FW then PSP, right? Just know that Win2000 can be very finicky when it comes to any changes on HOST...which can result in stop Ox error on load, hoping to avoid this on old server... actually for Drive FW reported as needing update & me not wanting to go through 14 floppies 1.44
