Firmware CD for ML350 G1

I would like to updtate the firmware and Bios for an old G1 ML350. I tried the ISO at the following link http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/24777.html (v7.50) but when I try to boot from it, it says that the server is not supported by the CD.

Is there some other download I can use for this?

Re: Firmware CD for ML350 G1

Hi Matt,

Please make sure, the server is free from any unsupported components.
Checked & found that the FMCD 7.5 contains the Online & offline firmware update for this server.
Page 5 of following Document :

Have u tried online update ?
If not then please check it up.

Matt's right, the 7.50 CD doesn't work on the ML350 (I have a 1 GHz, D04/P04).

I'm downloading the 7.20 now to see if that works.

You can find the Firmware CD Support matrix here:

http://h18004.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/cd_supportinfo/cd_supportinfo.html

It states that you can use version version 7.0 through 7.5

Re: Firmware CD for ML350 G1

I don't really care what the matrix says, v7.50 doesn't work on an ML350 G1, and two people have tried and proven that.

I d/l v7.20, burned it to a CD, and it loads.
