Firmware downgrade

Dear All

we have DL785 G5 server running SLES 11 sp1 , the emulex HBa card we have had a firmware version 2.82A4 , this HBA used to

connect EMC VMAX storage , EMC recommend to downgrade this firmware to be 2.80a4 , i need to know the effect of this action on the server drivers and what is the exact steos to do such downgrade , all i get is to upgrade but nothing for downgrade .
