Firmware update for Broadcom DL3[68]0 G8 onboard NICs fails on first invocation

I've found that recent editions of the firmware update for the onboard 4x GE NICs fails 2/3 steps on every system where I run it.

Broadcom-2.7.20C-12-Apr-2013.CP020090.scexe and Broadcom-2.7.20-19.Feb.2013.CP017428.scexe for sure, maybe Broadcom-2.6.14-CP016934.scexe too.
