Firmware update

I am trying to update the firmware on HP ProLiant DL380 G3. I am able to boot from the ISO cd that I downloaded from HP containing the Firmware Manage 7.91, but once the application is loaded, it stays on a blank blue screen. Has anyone encountered this problem? Curently running redhat 8.0 and planning to install redhat ES 5.

I had similar issue with a 7.91 image download. What version of F/W are trying to install? I ended up using the 7.90 cd and then using the individual component online updates. In my case I think it may have had to do with an adapter conflict.
