Flash Programming locked!

Have ML370 bios P17 4/2/01. Attempting to upgrade to latest firmware version 4.12a for Windows 2003 support. When I boot from the floppy the server model and the fact that the upgrade is applicable is correctly identified. However, when proceeding I get the following message:

Flash programming locked ! Cold boot of system is neccessary to unlock. Correct admin password
is neccessary if one has been set.

If anyone has come against this problem before how was it resolved please ? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Remove all power for ~30sec. Reattach and retry.
