Floppy boot array configuration 1785
The server was given to me by a friend and i booted it up. Error 1785 comes up and the boot array is not configured. I can see if any logical drives are loaded and mostlikely are not i tried using the SCU and thru that use the Array configuration Utility. But when i boot into the ACU it comes up as no boot record found. and my smart CD isnt working. what should my nest step be?

Re: Floppy boot array configuration 1785
Hi Pyhrra,
What model of the server are we referring to?
Check Cabling on the server, Usually from the Backplane to the Array Controller (either integrated onto System Board or a PCI Smart Array Controller)
Boot server and go to Bios, Press F9
Check Boot Controller Order and ensure that the controller to which the drives connected is selected as the first boot Controlelr device)
Press F10, save and Exit, then try running the ACU, you should be able to configure the Array.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Prabhu
