Re: Floppy boot array configuration
The 1729 is a normal message when you create a raid with parity (4 and 5) and it should not prevent you from loading the OS or using the system.

Re: Floppy boot array configuration
hey, how's it goin?
I have a 1600 that has 1 dead drive and it won't boot. I have downloaded every tool I can find from hp's site.
It was a raid 5 with 3 drives, so 2 should still be good.
any ideas and how about that old skool boot disk you have?
