Force a RAID Rebuild
I have a Pro 5500 w/3200 array controller. Insight Manager says that the array is 'Ready to Rebuild'. I already rebooted and hit the 'F1' key to rebuild, but it still says 'Ready to Rebuild'. Can I force it to start the rebuild while Windows is on??? Is there software to do that??? Otherwise I'll reboot again...

Re: Force a RAID Rebuild
How come there's a rebuild queued? did you change a disk? or removed one and put it back?
Are all your firmware up-to-date?
If you have an old version of the ACU the rebuild might have been already done, but the ACU still shows as pending.

Re: Force a RAID Rebuild
2 days ago 1 drive went bad. Replaced it & it did a normal rebuild on the fly. Everything was fine yesterday (all error/warning gone). This morning I had a yellow dot and it said 'mirroring', the drives are all good. I rebooted and hit the 'F1' key and it still has 'mirroring' and 'Ready to Reuild'... I'm going to reboot again and see what happens...
