Re: Foundation Agents Event ID 2099

I would recommend opening the HP Management Agents applet in the control panel and making the Host Information subagent inactive. This problem is due to a utility from Microsoft called RichCopy. This is interfering with the information agents ability to acquire file system information. Removing the RichCopy utility will also resolve this error.
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..

Re: Foundation Agents Event ID 2099

I found a workaround to get rid of the event messages.

Install the HP Insight Management Agent version 7.95 instead of a 8.** version.

Good luck.

Has anyone found a consistent resolution to this problem?

How does one remove RichCopy?

It also might be that you have some memory going bad, which is what happened to me when I got this error on a 2000 server.
