Fresh install of Server 2016 on ML30 Gen9 hangs on boot loader

Hi Guys,

I had a problem with a production server where when the server rebooted it would hang on "choose an operating system" with no count down. I would have to iLO on to it and press enter.

I've reinstalled the server and the same thing is happening.

- I have no additional roles installed to the server than the standard.

- My boot loader has a 30 second timeout before selecting an OS (but this isnt working)

The only things installed are:

Matrox Graphics v4.3.3.3

Google Chrome

Kaseya Agent

HPE System Management v7..6.3

HP iLO Online config util v5.2.0.0

PFA Server Registry Update v.1.5.0.0

Smart Storage Admin 3.30.14.0

Integrated management log viewer 7.8.0.0

and HP iLO config util 5.2.0

 

I'm currently in the process of removing all installed programs and rebooting to see if i can find what's causing it.

Has anyone else had this issue?

There are no such known issues with the ML30 Gen9 Server.

Please upgrade the firmware with the Latest SPP before Re-deploying the Server OS.
