Frozen server
Hi!
We have on Proliant Dl 380 G5 with one core2 CPU
and 4 GB of RAM...
Using Smart Array P400 for local storage...
Well problem is, that it started to happen that when I reboot server, after reboot it stays at white screen (with HP Proliant on it)...
If I reboot it same thing...
When I cold boot it, than it moves forward...
Every component is at latest version...
Thanks for reply

Re: Frozen server
hi,
really odd actually,
does bios version is 2008.01.09 (B) (1 Feb 2008)?
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=1121516&prodNameId=3288134&swEnvOID=181&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-4962e8b2fe484a159d7bc7234c
It can be a failed HW component, minimize the server (just 1 proc, 1 ppm, 2 dimms and the empty riser cage, no IDE drive optical or floppy, no LAN cables) by removing one component at a time to isolate the failed component.
let us know
