SolutionAre you using appropriate and latest Matrox G200eH video driver provided by HPE for your HPE ProLiant DL380p Gen8 (generally, if you're using a Linux distribution, the Matrox G200 video driver is yet available at Kernel level)?
What's about your display...does it support 1920x1200 pixels resolution at 16 or 32 bpp color depths *natively* or it support 1920x1024 pixels (Full-HD) or, at best, lower graphic resolutions only (like 1024x768)?

Re: G200 graphic card on HP Proliant DL380p G8
I don't know the status of your Server in terms of being updated (or not)...but it's easy to find that updated video drivers are available, see:
- for Windows Server 2008 x64 there is Matrox G200eH Video Controller Driver: http://h20564.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=5194969&swItemId=MTX_1544277dd3d84d61a0d3f7ec02&swEnvOid=4024#tab-history
- for Windows Server 2008 x86 there is Matrox G200eH Video Controller Driver: http://h20564.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=5194969&swItemId=MTX_7e83931b232842e7910a0590ea&swEnvOid=4022#tab-history
As you can see from above links, both those Matrox G200 video drivers are specifically available for Microsoft Windows Server 2008 respectively with x86 and x64 architectures running on HP ProLiant DL380p Gen8 (if you have Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 as OS you must find drivers related to that OS version) and they both date back to October 2016 (not 2012)...give them (x86 or x64, it depends on your installed OS architecture) a try wouldn't be a bad idea.
